Our family stayed in the Standard Twin Room and absolutely loved it! The room was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style. The kids particularly enjoyed the high-tech toilet and the convenience of having a fridge. Plus, the staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us with directions and restaurant recommendations. The location in Gion is perfect for exploring the breathtaking temples and shrines nearby, making it a memorable experience for all of us.

inn gion the second is in a fantastic spot, right in the gion area. the room was spacious and lovely, which made my stay even better. i loved how quiet it was. the front desk had many helpful amenities, too!

This was just a smart choice for a cursory stop in Kyoto with definitely value for money. The room got a bit hot after showers, but we used towels for the water on the floor, which worked fine. Just be aware there’s no laundry facility available.

The location in Gion is excellent for exploring nearby temples and shrines. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, making for a comfortable stay. However, the breakfast options were limited and the hotel can be tricky to find, especially at night. clear directions would be helpful.

Staying at Inn Gion The Second was good. The location in Gion allowed for serene nighttime strolls, and the staff's assistance was really good when I needed help retrieving lost belongings. The room, quite spacious and clean, provided a cozy retreat. Lacking a dining option was a minor drawback.
